A Shepherds Tactical Training Course
Our Teacher Safety & Preparedness Course is designed to support educators in building confidence, skills, and awareness to protect themselves and their students in a variety of school and classroom situations. We understand that each teacher’s needs may differ, so this course is customizable to meet individual goals, including:

Strategies for preparing classrooms for unexpected intruders

Approaches to active shooter situations

Techniques for maintaining situational awareness

Guidance for working effectively under extreme high-pressure situations

We firmly believe that teachers are the guardians of our children during school hours and activities, and there should never be barriers preventing them from receiving the training they need to protect themselves and their students. For this reason, teachers may take this course free of charge, and any other course listed in our program is available to them at a 50% discount.
Teachers must provide a badge or official identification confirming they are a current educator. Courses may be taken individually or in groups with other teachers. Immediate family members may attend this course at a discounted rate, and may attend other courses at a 25% discount, allowing families to learn together in a safe and structured environment.
This course emphasizes practical knowledge, situational awareness, and decision-making, delivered in a supportive, engaging, and realistic manner. The goal is to empower educators to act confidently and responsibly if ever faced with unexpected situations, while reinforcing a culture of safety, preparedness, and care for those in their charge.
