A Shepherds Tactical Training Course
Our Firearms Texas State and Federal Law Course is designed to help students gain a clear and practical understanding of the legal responsibilities that come with firearm ownership and use. This course focuses on education and awareness, providing students with the knowledge needed to make informed, lawful decisions.
Instruction takes place in a classroom setting and covers Texas state laws as well as applicable federal regulations related to firearms. Topics include lawful possession, transportation, use of force considerations, interaction with law enforcement, and an overview of where firearms may and may not be carried. Information is presented in a clear and approachable way, allowing students to ask questions and engage in discussion.
This course is informational in nature and does not include live fire or hands on firearm manipulation. It is designed for students who already have basic familiarity with firearms and want to better understand the legal framework that surrounds responsible ownership.
Students will complete a written assessment at the conclusion of the course to confirm understanding of the material presented. This assessment is intended to reinforce learning and ensure comprehension, not to create pressure or intimidation.
This course is an excellent option for new firearm owners, experienced shooters seeking a refresher, or anyone who wants to stay current on Texas and federal firearm laws. A strong understanding of the law supports safer decision making and responsible firearm use, which aligns with the core mission of our training program.
The course fee is $50 per person.
