Our Texas Concealed Carry (License to Carry) Training Course is offered for individuals who qualify and wish to pursue lawful concealed carry in the state of Texas. This course is designed to meet state requirements while emphasizing responsibility, clarity, and respect for the legal obligations that come with carrying a firearm.
This is not a firearms safety course. Due to state regulations, firearms safety instruction cannot be taught once this course has begun, and instructors are not permitted to teach toward passing. The course is conducted on a pass/fail basis, and students are expected to arrive with a working knowledge of safe firearm handling and basic manipulation skills.
The focus of this course is on legal education and qualification. Classroom instruction covers Texas laws related to carrying a handgun, use of force and self-defense considerations, safe carry practices, and conflict avoidance. This portion is intended to ensure students understand the legal responsibilities and expectations associated with concealed carry.
Following classroom instruction, students will complete the required live-fire qualification on the range under the supervision of instructors and range officers, in accordance with Texas standards. This shooting portion is intended solely to meet legal qualification requirements and is not a training or coaching session.
Students may enroll in the Texas Concealed Carry course in one of two ways. Those who have already completed one of our firearm training courses have met the prerequisite knowledge requirements and may enroll directly. Students who have not trained with us may still enroll by first completing a free knowledge verification exam, which confirms understanding of basic and selected intermediate firearm safety concepts.
This exam is provided at no cost and exists to support safe, responsible carry—not to discourage participation. Students who do not pass the exam are encouraged to pursue additional training to build the necessary knowledge and confidence before returning for the Concealed Carry course. Once the required understanding is demonstrated, students are welcome to enroll.
The Texas Concealed Carry Training Course is offered at a flat rate of $75 per person. Course length may vary based on class size and range scheduling.
